Time for an update

Hey evergheeybody! Time for a Suadref Studios Update!

First off: Pointless Crap Mania might be closing down. That's because the good man who's lent me the scanner has requested it back. BUT! I heard that I can get a 3 in 1 kinda scanner for about 110 bucks! Maybe I'll get that on my next pay day. Therefore, the fate of the comic lies in the balance.

Secondly: As you can see on the side, there's a new section in da house! Musika Extravaganza! Le Juke Box! Ain't it awesome? I finally figured out the damn Radio Blog program, thanks to Spidey of coz. Tricky little bugger.

Progress has been slow on reading up the new Potter book. Is it coz I got no time? No, I have plenty of time. I dunno why. Maybe I can't find a good stretch of time where I can really dive into the book, like what I did for the past 2 books. Thick volumes which I read in one day, thru night, till the next morning.

This weekend seem to just zoom past. It's already Sunday evening, and tomorrow, the 'routine' begins again. Chalet was fun. Plenty of barbequing, eating, talking cock, talking comic, Karaoke, South Park, Sleep, Eat, Slack, Eat... and I took a good 30 minutes of footage for two nights worth of chalet. Not much huh. Plus, when I transferred the footage to my comp, it turned out to be quite... bad. Lighting. Dark.

Edit: Click on the collage to see the pics laid out. Quality sucks. What to do. Just snippets from the video.

Went for the play at NUS on Wednesday. Free tickets, I just love 'em. Didn't expect it to be a totally monologue show though. But acting was good, execution was well done, Technicalities, nicely choreographed. However, I absolutely do not agree with some of the issues presented, and the ideas portrayed to the audience. What sickens me is the audience's response to some things. What seems trivial to them is actually a matter of grave importance and yet, they laughed at it. The end of the play brings me to ask myself, what's the point of the play? Is it to make people think and realise about things? I don't think so. It seems more to misguide people, especially the 'young and hip' among the audience. No offence to friends and relatives in the production though. You guys were great. I just don't like how it fails to convey a proper message after messing up lots of issues and ideas.

It's like, these things have been going on in society, involving 'melayu' or rather, muslims. Highlighting these issues to the public eye is good, so that they can understand the reality of it. I had expected them to bring forth the point that the things portrayed here are wrong, and should not be tolerated, or at least it should be curbed. But the end was kinda empty of conclusions.

I don't know. Who am I to comment, but that's what I feel.

Ok that's it for now. Gonna go down and meet up with the guys for soccer.
