Chicken Porridge
I never thought I'd actually like porridge. But the chicken porridge at Banquet Bedok is simply awesome to fill an empty stomach. Such a nice sensation as the smooth and flavoured porridge melts in your mouth and flows warmly through your throat and settles comfortably in you hungry stomach. And, when it's over, you don't even feel overeated. It is nice.
Now that I'm pretty much gathered, I'm gonna start about yesterday... events that lead up to ... the previous entry.
Contractors are at it again, with them satelite crap, and I stayed back... till 1030 PM! worth a full day off, if you ask me. I even thought of spending the night there and claiming one day off the next day. But it's not too bad, we watched Black Hawk Down and Behind Enemy Lines on DVD, on a self-setup Home Theatre system. It was a fuckin movie theatre man... With no one to disturb, we wired some bigass speakers, the projector and screen, and when the pizza came, off went the lights and the dvd played. Hours simply flew by.
Even the mess couldn't match this power! And all this was set up by two guys. Of course, we didnt feel like packing up after that, so we only did that today, in the morning.
Thought of stayin again tonight, but since the situation yesterday, I need to get home fast and get some answers. Half day today.
Quote of the day:
"There's nothing to hear. Why's there nothing to hear? Because I haven't done anything. And why haven't I done anything. Because none of you will LISTEN TO ME!" - Messenger, The story of Joan of Arc. I like this movie. And not just because of Milla Jovovich.
wait, one more:
"What could be more complicated than that. All you have to do, is do what you're told. What could be simpler than that?"
