the 150th
yes boys and girls... it's the one hundred and fiftieth post!
And for quite some time, it shall stay as the most recent post!
So my long weekend is over. Tomorrow the cycle starts again. And it's gonna be damn dry. No more holidays till august. And then drag on till November. Next July couldn't come faster.
Just gonna recall what the hell I did that makes the weekend go so fast.
Ok, Friday's morning plan didn't work but was changed to Saturday instead. Then, soccer in the evening resulting in glorious aches all over.
Saturday morning was spent in the unchartered territories of Shaw Towers. Heheh... some gems must remain hidden I guess. So I shall not share any secrets there. Not unless I get a TV show that goes around exploring super cool chill places.
Then I went home, slept, and went out to dine with da family in conjuction with Mother's Day. Sofra's Turkish Restourant. I do NOT recommend it. But not to spoil the mood, we all just go with it.
Left early and rode to TJC to meet up with the Tangga Geng to catch Gema. And as I've elaborated before to some people, I shall proclaim the super hotness of the hip-hop guest artists... i mean dancers. Firstly let me say it's totally inappropriate. That aside, I'll say it's freakin HOT! My thoughts were: This couldn't be TJC students... Too hot to be JC students. I guess I was right when I examined the program sheet and saw that it was some invited hip hop guests.
You should've been there. They were hot. Yes. HOT.
OK nuff 'bout the dance. The poetry recitation by the so called penyair 'all over the place' is somewhat inspiring in that they could have stage time, or air time, whatever you call it, just by blurting out whatever crap that's the first thing on their mind. And then people just started calling them artsy, or creative or deep. I call it seloroh, or rather more delicately, crap.
But hey, whichever works eh.
The emo guy got it good there too. The one thing cool about this kinda events is the audience they bring in. And the crap that they churn out throughout the show. Haha. Priceless i guess. But overall, the event was pretty well done. TOo bad for the Tangga Geng they couldn't take a shot with the reporter that covered the event.
Then I visited the historical Tangga. The place where Area 51 was forged.
Oh, then a pretty much boring Sunday. Just a trip to survey scooter beltings at Tamp Industrial Park and lunch with my fellow scooterman and then back home to watch Bleach and slack. Was planning to wash bike but it was skorpio's turn to have mother's day dinner. So, that's all there is.
Have a nice life.
