Mid Noon Boredom Spew/Stew
1248 now.. Saturday noon. Yesternight was spent discussing some very grim matters about life. And I kinda scared myself a little... The yellow box hunt took up the first part of the night. But then, I dunno how the talk cock can turn into such a grim topic of well... problems of life. Problems I didn't even think could happen to someone.
Anyway, I woke at 9 plus and felt sian coz I gotta go to National Stadium for the deployment later at 2. I'll miss the HOCKEY reunion... and also the probable soccer.
But I'm just pissed that I'll miss hockey. It's been so damn long since I last met the guys. And the hype was all around, and I found out I couldn't go like a few days ago. So, that's fucked up.
Or maybe... I can just screw the deployment shit and just head down to Delta now? Arhhhh! dammit.
This is a Suzuki GSR400. Husai recommended this instead of Honda Vtec Super 4. I have no idea which is better but... the GSR sure lookd sweet. I'm so itchy to get a 2a bike. Dammit. I MUST curb this lust. Last night, I tried two 400cc bikes. Super 4, which I'm getting more and more comfortable with... and a CB400, which I pretty much don't like coz of the chicken legs position.
A few minutes ago, my mirror got blown by the wind and fell and broke. Is it a bad omen? It had never happened before... mirrors breaking in my house. This is the first. Ooooh.
And that yellow box thing. I really pity them smokers. They're being treated like.. i dunno... like outcasts who gotta move away from society to take a puff. My stand on smoking is kinda ambivalent. There were times where my perception swayed... greatly. But now, I'm just... normal with it. So, the fact that smokers are being isolated in such a way, while it makes the place more comfortable, it degrades the smokers, who are people also. I saw people who had to stand up and move away from their family or friends after a meal and puff away. And then return.
Ok, maybe they are doing this for the international eye to see that we are curbing the smoking problem by increasing the price incredulously and segregating the smokers from the non-smokers. All that in addition to the nil publicity of cigarettes. Then people tell me that the economy's large contribution is from ciggs, taxes and profits and all. So what's the deal here. I don't know.
Of course, smoking is bad for you. I think everyone knows that by now. It's like the standard human practice of knowing what's good for you and what's not, but somehow we all go for those things which are not good for us. It's just how we work. It's a virus in our mind.. soul. Clean that up, and we'll have a straight up clean and happy life. Eh? Right?
I'm gonna go now.
