Johoria!
OKAY! In all the excitement, I've forgotten to take the evening parade. Man, I'm so screwed. Hope it was raining, or cancelled, or something. Shit shit shit. My first week as IC and I forgot all about it.
The trip to and fro was super tiring. Exhaustion on the road is not a cool thing. Damn bike wont go more than 100. Full throttle some more. So why did they put the top speed as 120? Bloody Kymcoians.
Being my first time going thru customs on bike, I was pretty lost, but thanks to 'wed,.. Everythin was okay. He brought his bro's 125Z to service. And boy was it serviced. The whole afternoon was spent on our two bikes, and that other singapore X1.
We reached JB, and topped up fuel first. Jwed's bike emptied just a few meters before the petrol station. Damn lucky he is. It could've been worse. Bike could've run out of fuel halfway thru causeway... or somethin. Anyway, it's bloody cheap there, fuel I mean. 8 ringgit for full tank. WTF? 4 BUCKS? Damn.
Then, off to find Aqua Lane. The reason it's called Aqua, or Ah Quah?... is that bapoks are all around there. Pretty obvious from the name eh? The bapoks are damn varied. Some are beyond sight, as in your eyes will burn if you see them, but some are as hot as umm.. Jessica Alba?.. really... hot. But still, its just freaky. The whole place is like Changi, extended.
The mechanics were friendly, and unlike Singapore's HENG MOTOR (pls sabo this shop. Fuckd up service. Fuckd up mechanics.). I askd for decarbonising, change of spark plug, and service of the carborator. All that down to 60 ringgit, which goes around to 30 bucks. Here's the lowdown: Back home, the CHEAPEST decarbonising I can find is 40 bucks. Spark plug, good ones, cost 15 bucks at least. And carborator service is minimum of 20 bucks. Yeah, 75 Singdolly just for thesame shit. I thought it was a good deal.
Then, I got itchy. I asked them to tweak my timing at the carbo. I wanted minimum throttle, maximum acceleration. Yeah, it was good for the first few clicks. Then something went amiss. There was a jerk somewhere in the gear change. The acceleration was good, till that jerk, and then it got fast. Slight discomfort, the price to pay. Dammit, I should've been happy with what was done.
Then the way back. We got somewhat lost! I was freaked out to be on the road that shows a signboard "KL- 325km". NO! I don't wanna go KL! I wanna go home! Then luckily, we somehow found a lorong, that leads to the other direction. M'sian expressways are scary.
What a welcoming sight when we saw bus 170, sbs. We followed it's tail for a while before gaining confidence to go back to the outer lanes.
So all in all, it's been a enriching trip. I had doubts about going, but if not now, when eh?
That's all.
